How the Training Works

Each day builds on the last.
For beginners, Day 2 is where you truly step into being a PMU artist—this is the gateway into the full course and where technical mastery begins.

If you’re already an established artist, you can choose how many days you attend depending on what you need—whether it’s refining your mapping, deepening your knowledge of skin and pigments, or seeing everything come together in real time.

But the most powerful part of the training is observing a full client service on Day 4—where every piece of theory and technique clicks

.

Day 1: Brow Mapping & Design
Every great brow begins with a flawless map. In Day 1, you’ll master symmetry, proportion, and bone structure so your designs don’t just look good in photos—they hold up in real life. I’ll walk you through my exact mapping system, the one I use on every client, so you leave with a repeatable process that eliminates guesswork and builds instant client trust.
THIS DAY CAN BE A STAND-ALONE COURSE FOR  ESTIES AND ARTISTS WISHING TO PERFECT BROW MAPPING SKILLS.
$700

Day 2: Technique & Tools
Day 2 is where we dig deep into the why and the how. This is about building technical mastery so your work isn’t just beautiful—it’s consistent, predictable, and long-lasting.
We’ll break down stroke patterns, shading methods, and machine control in a way that makes sense and sticks. You’ll learn the technical theory behind every movement, then apply it with focused practice and guided feedback so it becomes second nature.
We’ll also cover the tools and products I trust in my studio—what delivers the best healed results, and how to select the right combination for each client. By the end of the day, you’ll have both the knowledge and the hands-on confidence to execute brows with intention, not guesswork.
$2,400 (includes Day 1)

Day 3: Skin, Color Theory & Advanced Practice
This is where the breakthroughs happen. The difference between a beginner and a professional isn’t just how they tattoo—it’s how they understand skin. On Day 3, I’ll teach you how pigments behave in different skin types, how to avoid common mistakes, and how to color-correct like a pro.
We’ll deep-dive into advanced practice so you stop second-guessing yourself and start creating results that heal beautifully—not just look good on day one. These are the skills that give you the power to charge premium prices and stand out in a crowded market.
$3,000 (includes Days 1 & 2)

Day 4: Live Model Day
On the final day, you’ll watch me take a client from start to finish—mapping, pigment selection, technique, and execution—while I walk you through every decision in real time. Seeing the full process unfold on a live model gives you insights you simply can’t get from theory or practice pads alone.

After the demo, we’ll shift into the business side of permanent makeup—the part most trainings skip. You’ll learn how to take portfolio-worthy photos that sell your work, the marketing strategies that actually bring in clients, and the systems that keep your business running smoothly.
This day ties everything together, showing you not only how to create timeless brows, but also how to position yourself as a professional artist clients trust and book with confidence.

Your Path to Certification & Support

I want my students to leave this training not only inspired, but also truly prepared. That’s why certification isn’t just about showing up — it’s about showing competency. After the training, you’ll have 3 months to complete your homework: three full practice pads (front and back) filled with hairstrokes and shading that demonstrate control, consistency, and confidence. Once completed, you’ll be certified.

From there, you’ll have 6 months to take your first live model with me as your supervisor. I’ll be there to guide you through the process, answer questions in real time, and make sure you feel supported every step of the way. Before the year is up, you’ll also have one more opportunity to work with a client while I shadow and assist you — plus the chance to shadow me as I take a real client, so you can see how the techniques translate in a professional studio setting.

This structure gives you accountability, mentorship, and the confidence to step into your career as a PMU artist knowing you’re not alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Return on Investment??

A single brow client in Utah averages $400-$700. This training pays for itself in just a few clients. I have been able to support myself and my children as a single parent with a flexible schedule that I make --able to attend all my family events and take my children to and from school without missing work.

Do I need prior PMU experience to take this training?
No. Day 1 is designed for complete beginners and intermediate artists, alike. If you are new and want the full Combo Brow PMU training, stay through day 4. If you are a novice artist or an esthetician needing constructive criticism, feedback and guidance on brow mapping, you can stay for just Day 1. Day 1 is considered the first day of the PMU training and a stand-alone brow mapping workshop.

What's included in the training?
Each day includes hands-on demonstrations, practice materials, my personal product recommendations and in-depth education. You'll also receive homework guidelines, certification upon completion, and continued mentorship opportunities like shadowing.
Each student will be given a Mapping kit with supplies that will boost their mapping results, and supplies for practicing. For all students taking day 2 and beyond, a tattoo machine, needles and practice pads will be included with training to allow for practicing in class and beyond!

What kind of certification will I receive?
If you complete only Day 1 (or days 1, 2 and 3) You will receive a Certificate of Completion, for the levels you completed.  This confirms your training in those skills but does not make you a certified PMU artist.
To become a Certified PMU Artist, you must complete the full training (Days 1-4), along with the required homework.

Is there ongoing support after the training?
Yes. You'll have up to a year of support, including shadow opportunities, supervised models, and access to me for guidance. I will also direct you to supportive online communities that have helped me immensely along my PMU journey. My goal is to make sure you feel confident beyond the classroom.

How many students are in each class?
Seats are capped at 6 students to keep the environment intimate. This ensures you get hands-on, one-on-one attention and guidance.

Do I have to take all four days?

No, you can stop at any point, and each day builds on the last. For example, Day 1 (Mapping & Design) can be taken on its own, and Days 2-3 are highly recommended if you are an intermediate student and want to expand your technique and confidence, but the full course will be required to obtain your certification.

Why is the full course recommended?

Because PMU is a multi-layered skill set. Mapping alone is valuable, but combining mapping, technique, skin &color theory and live model observation ensures you graduate with the confidence, artistry, and professional-level knowledge to work successfully with clients.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, a $500 deposit secures your seat and the remaining balance can be financed through Afterpay, Affirm or Klarna. Payment will be processed on the first day of class.

Do you offer cash discounts?

Yes, a $300 discount will be given for payments made in cash.

Is a professional license required to operate in Utah?

A professional license like Cosmetology or Esthetics is not required to operate in Utah, but other states may have different requirements. Its up to you to look into your states professional license requirements.

Where is the training held?

The training will be held inside Velvet Rose Beauty Collective at 365 Paxton Ave, Suite B, in Salt Lake City.

Is there a Dress Code?

Is Lunch Provided?
